Hi Guys, I've truly enjoyed reading the bios. I usually don't get into my computer very often so I have quite a bit of catch-up when I do.

After high school, nothing dramatic, college then marriage. We have three beautiful and talented daughters.

In the early years after the children were born, I went into Real Estate. My sister Debby, class of ‘63, and I worked for our mom, our broker, at Smith-Carter realty.

My daughters were very involved in 4-H, Girl Scouts, the Sparteens and the C.U.H.S. band, which kept me very involved.

In 1984, we moved to Madera CA. In 1987, my mother passed leaving a huge void in all our lives. My father is still in El Centro, 85 years young come August, and still working 6 days a week.

I divorced in 1988 and remarried. My husband and I work at Saint-Gobain Container Corp. We make wine bottles. We were Ball Glass, which bought out Kerr Glass and was taken over by the French. That's a hoot.

I'm a payroll analyst and have been at the plant for 16 years. My husband, Paul, keeps the machines in good working order. Paul has been at the factory for 31 years.

Our daughters and grandchildren keep us young. Deborah, our oldest, has no children. She and husband Kory love their careers and travel.

Our middle daughter, Angela, is a surgical nurse and she and her husband Tony have 3 daughters and a son, Alyssa, Kylee, Erica and Shaun, and they are just putting the finishing touches on their new home that is being built in Santa Maria.

Glenda, our youngest, is Paul’s fishing buddy (my husband is an avid fisherman, hunter, sports enthusiast and loves the outdoors). Glenda is married and has 2 children, Jacob and Ashtyn. Glenda and I have been prayer partners for a number of years and have seen God’s blessings first hand. Praise God.

Paul and I keep real busy. Our days begin at 4:30am each day and end about 8:30-9:00pm each evening. We put up 30+ gallons of olives each year, hence our e-mail address, and this year we've canned about 30+ gallons of pickles.

We have pecan trees and process various types of nuts during the holidays. Our garden looks great this year. The tomatoes were a bit late because of the weather.

We enjoy each other very much and are great friends. I read or crochet while Paul watches sports. We don't travel very much as we enjoy being close to home.

We have two adorable doxies, Pebbles and (Bam Bam), we call him Bubba, that we had flown in from Ark. 6 years ago. They are our "kids" and we give each other hours of enjoyment.

I'm looking forward to visiting and seeing everyone again it has been a long time.

So until October - take good care and God bless.

In our hearts, thoughts and prayers
