Hi Jan,
Well, here’s my BIO:
I married Bill Webster in 1961 and had 3 beautiful
children. I went to work for AT&T in
1964 until it was split up, and then worked for
Pacific Bell Telephone. I received a promotion to Engineering Supervisor and worked 18 1/2 years before I
took my vested retirement. The company merged with San Diego Pacific Bell
so I worked in San Diego for 3 years - which
got old real fast since I still living in El Centro.
I divorced Bill Webster in 1982 and Married Fletch Mavity in
1986. Fletch and I will be married 15 years in November. We have 6
children and 17 grandchildren between us.
We moved to Moreno Valley, California. We were there 1 year
before deciding to leave due to the rapid growth and crime rate. We
decided to check out the state of Oregon and absolutely fell in love with the
beautiful area around Grants Pass located in Southern Oregon. People are
right when they say that Oregon is Gods Country. We have lived here 10
years, so far, and we will probably be here the rest of our lives.
I went to Oregon to retire but started getting cabin fever, so I
decided to try selling real estate. I'm now working with Century 21
Harris & Taylor in Grants Pass and I love it. I've been a real estate
agent now for 4 years and I feel I've found my calling. I love what I do
and make tons of friends. So, if anyone is interested in moving to
Southern Oregon give me a call or e-mail me at darlenem@internetcds.com.
Jan, I want to thank you and everyone involved in working so
hard putting
together another reunion. I always have a blast at them. I
love getting together with all my friends.
Take Care and God Bless,
Darlene Gleason Mavity
