Hi, I have felt very guilty enjoying everyone's bio and Jan working so hard, and me not taking the time to sit down and whip out my own though not nearly as interesting as a lot of you! So here goes.
I
left El Centro after my junior year, not by choice of course. We moved to
Anaheim where the school was so large we had to have two lunch periods. I was
not impressed! I missed all my friends although I made new friends and met the
love of my life.
After
graduating Kenny started his own business and I went to work at various places
trying to decide what I wanted to do. We decided getting married was the
answer. We then started a family and had a wonderful baby boy, Kenny 111. Six
years later we adopted a beautiful baby girl, Kimberly, and two years later I
had a beautiful baby boy we named Kevin.
We
moved to Fullerton where the kids could grow up in a semi-country area. They
were able to have all the animals they wanted. Of course, for girls its horses
and boys motorcycles. In 1976 we bought 165 acres in Aguanga, Ca so the kids
would have a place to ride their motorcycles and we would have a place to get
away.
When
the kids were all in school, I decided to go back to school. I went to interior
design school and found the passion of my life, I graduated and did all the
design work I could and still do.
After
living in Fullerton for 20 years and raising our children, we decided to move
to our place in Aguanga and build our dream home. So we did, I decided once
again to go to school, this time floral design school. After finishing that, I
opened a florist shop and loved it, but decided going to work everyday and
running a business was not for me. Now we live a very nice life, still here in
Aguanga enjoying life our friends, our kids and our four beautiful
grandchildren, Cara 11, Anastasha 11, Cheyanne 8 and Colton 5. They are the joy
of our lives.
My
husband is semi retired now, he goes into Orange County once a week and our
youngest son runs our business there. My oldest also has a motocross track here
on the ranch that he rents to factories for testing new bikes shoots and their
team practice. Motocross is his passion. He also helps run our muffler shop
here.
I
am looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Beth I'm watching for
your bio….
